Nathan started skating at 10 months, and could push and ride by himself at 1.5 years all while still being breast fed. At 4, Nathan started competing and was the 2002 California Ameteur Champion in the 10 and under at age 7. Nathan likes all types of skating, pools, parks, vert, street and slalom. In 2003 at 9 years old, Nathan competed in the 15 and under Slalom World Championships taking 3rd.
